Cleaning Cast Iron Cookware Process:
Simply rinse it with water and wipe it clean. Ensure thorough drying and apply oil all around.
To eliminate lingering odors from beef or fish, sprinkle salt on the cookware and scrub, or wash it with mild soap, dry thoroughly and then apply oil.
In extreme cases, if necessary, use steel wool and mild soap for a thorough cleaning. Note that using steel wool may remove seasoning, which must be restored.

Great deal for a beautiful cast iron pot with a lid. Very heavy, like all cast iron, so be careful when lifting it and never touch bare handed after you’ve been cooking.
